Description

You will manage cloud environment issues, troubleshoot data platform incidents, and maintain infrastructure health.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Respond to cloud monitoring alerts and resolve data platform troubleshooting issues.
• Manage user access requests, ensuring security best practices like MFA and key management.
• Maintain configuration management health and create technical runbooks and support documentation.
• Implement technical tasks under the guidance of Cloud Architects.
• Adhere to ITIL processes including change, problem, configuration, and incident management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, VPC, S3, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, specifically AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, including Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of code and binary repositories such as GitHub or BitBucket.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle within a DevOps framework.
• Knowledge of end-to-end data lifecycles from ingestion to consumption.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data catalogs or data governance.
