Description

Manage and support agency-level cloud environments across Azure and AWS. You will own the stability and security of these systems, from monitoring workloads to leading incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application workloads and system performance by creating and managing cloud alerts.
• Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) for priority 1 incidents, including coordination, documentation, and root cause analysis.
• Execute patch management for cluster environments, specifically Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Resolve cloud security alerts, ensure compliance with security requirements, and manage certificate renewals.
• Optimize cloud spend by identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing billing and cost management tags.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in multi-cloud environments.
• 1-2 years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• In-depth knowledge of networking and connectivity via Direct Connect or ExpressRoute.
• Experience managing security controls and patch management in large enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and Kubernetes.
• Ability to provide after-hours support for seamless service operation.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
