Description

You own the administration and operational support of AWS cloud environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS infrastructure including EC2, EBS, AMI, EKS, RDS, RedShift, S3, SFTP (Transfer Family), IAM/Identity Center, and VPC configurations.
• Follow runbooks for incident response, system monitoring, and routine operational tasks.
• Provide Windows OS support, handling patching via AWS Systems Manager (SSM) and managing backup/restore operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues independently, taking full ownership of problems.
• Participate in out-of-hours support rotations to ensure 24/7 operational continuity.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure support roles.
• Extensive practical experience with AWS services: EC2, EBS, AMI, EKS, RDS, RedShift, S3, SFTP, IAM/Identity Center, and VPC.
• Strong skills in Windows OS support, including patch management via AWS Systems Manager (SSM).
• Ability to follow detailed runbooks and documented procedures accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to act independently when standards are not defined.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ITSM tools and workflows.
