Description

Support systems hosted in a private cloud and perform administrative functions within a secure service provider environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Stage and deploy Windows OS images on servers.
• Coordinate and lead routine system patching and administration for Windows and Linux servers.
• Provide Level 1 technical support for security-related issues.
• Maintain IT asset management systems and serve as an Active Directory Subject Matter Expert.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of system administration experience in a Windows server environment.
• Proficiency with Windows PowerShell or other current scripting languages.
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals.
• Experience with protocols including FTP, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Hands-on experience with systems management, monitoring, diagnostic, and troubleshooting tools.
• Understanding of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Microsoft or Linux vendor/industry certifications.
