Description

You will administer and support the AWS GovCloud platform for an examination tool and related business applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Develop cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Support the design and implementation of cloud solutions for analytics, data processing, and/or machine learning use cases.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, networking, and security layers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in information technology, including application development.
• At least 5 years of focused experience supporting cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one higher-level programming or scripting language such as Python or PowerShell, or IaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, etc.).
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containers in cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud platform concepts, ideally including government or GovCloud environments.
• Working knowledge of identity and federation technologies such as SAML, Okta, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services, XML, and/or JSON, and integration patterns.
• Understanding of cloud-based architectures, including web servers, caching, application servers, load balancers, storage, and networking fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud architectures for analytics/data processing/ML use cases.
