Description

You will own the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure following established practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and optimize cloud costs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems operations or a related field.
• Strong practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB, Auto Scaling).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Scripting capability using Python or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing).
• Experience handling production incidents and participating in on-call rotations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with container orchestration tools like Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
