Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and support of cloud-native solutions on AWS. You will own the technical direction for security, compliance, and reliability while mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS cloud-native solutions focusing on security and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
• Implement monitoring, metric collection, and alerting to improve service reliability.
• Research and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within an agile delivery process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Cloud Technical Lead or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in Golang and Python.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proven experience designing cloud-based IAM solutions and open-source IAM frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Bash.
• Ability to produce technical documentation, including data models and process diagrams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Security Specialty or relevant AWS certifications.
• Experience with DBT, PostgreSQL, and GitLab CI/CD.
