Description

You will lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native Network Management Systems (NMS).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build an information model aligned with element management standards to represent system functionality for network control.
• Design scalable system architecture for NMS using microservices and cloud-native components.
• Contribute to application architectures for network element configuration management and event/statistics collection.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure architecture implementability, including effort estimation and test strategies.
• Work on proof of concepts and early evaluations alongside other system architects.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in product development, design, and coding.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for cloud-based technologies.
• Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem and cloud-native application design.
• Expertise in scalable system architecture and microservices.
• Experience with API design using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with databases including PostgreSQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), TimescaleDB, or CortexDB.
• Knowledge of information modelling using SysML or UML.
• Experience with Elastic Search and visualization tools like Kibana or Grafana.
• Technical proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the telecommunications or networking domain, specifically with Network Management Systems (NMS).
• Knowledge of network management protocols such as SNMP/MIB or NetConf/YANG.
