Description

You will design, administer, and automate containerized virtualization environments and Kubernetes clusters.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and administration of containerized environments using KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
• Administer and fine-tune Linux systems to support virtualized infrastructure and containerized workloads.
• Build automated solutions for monitoring, scaling, and infrastructure analysis using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop automated incident response mechanisms and participate in an on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in virtualization and cloud-native environments.
• 2+ years of experience managing distributed KubeVirt, VMware, or Hyper-V environments across multiple data centers.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Linux systems administration.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, or Ruby for automation and infrastructure management.
• Experience automating deployments with Terraform or Ansible within a CI/CD pipeline.
• Proven experience supporting bare-metal, virtual environments, and mass storage systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
