Description

You will design, deploy, and optimize cloud-native virtualization environments with a focus on automation and high availability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, and administration of containerized virtualization environments using KubeVirt, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure seamless deployment, security, and performance.
• Administer and fine-tune Linux systems to support virtualized infrastructure and containerized workloads.
• Build automated solutions for monitoring, scaling, and analyzing infrastructure using Ansible and Terraform.
• Develop automated incident response mechanisms and participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority issues.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant work in virtualization and cloud-native environments.
• 2+ years managing distributed environments across multiple data centers with KubeVirt, VMware, or Hyper-V.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Linux systems administration.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, or Ruby for automation.
• Skilled in automating deployments with Terraform or Ansible within a CI/CD pipeline.
• Proven success providing advanced support for bare-metal, virtual environments, and mass storage systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Current experience with telecom customers.
