Description

You will provide operational support for Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/SUSE) environments, delivering day-to-day management of VMware vSphere services including provisioning, monitoring, capacity tracking, and patch coordination.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure services using observability tools (metrics, logs, alerts, dashboards) and execute defined escalation procedures.
• Execute infrastructure requests, changes, and standard service tasks using documented, automation-enabled processes.
• Support service transition and migration activities, including server readiness checks, data collection, cutover execution, and post-change validation.
• Manage backup, alert handling, and patch support within Azure environments.

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of experience in service operations, infrastructure support, or platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere operations and administration.
• Strong operational support experience for Windows environments.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting and backup/operational checks in enterprise settings.
• Exposure to Azure for monitoring, alert handling, backup, or patch support.
• Proficiency in Bash Shell and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with automation and configuration standardization using Ansible and Terraform.
• ITSM/ticketing tool experience for incident workflows and service requests.

Preferred Skills

• Observability practices and alert monitoring using metrics, logs, and dashboards.
• Basic GitHub or similar version control exposure.
