Description

You will design and build a modern AWS Data Lakehouse using S3, Glue, Iceberg, Snowflake, Terraform, and Airflow. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AWS infrastructure (S3, Glue, IAM, Lake Formation, Athena) using Terraform.
• Develop AWS Glue ETL pipelines in PySpark and Python across raw, clean, and curated layers.
• Create and manage Airflow DAGs for orchestration and scheduling.
• Maintain the Glue Catalog, enforce Lake Formation security, and optimize complex SQL for analytics.
• Manage Terraform states, environments, and deployments while supporting HA/DR strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data or Cloud Engineer.
• Strong AWS expertise: S3, Glue, Glue Catalog, Lake Formation, IAM, Athena, CloudWatch.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform (HCL) for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Python for data engineering tasks.
• Expert-level SQL skills for validation and analytics.
• Experience with Airflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with Iceberg, Parquet, or Delta Lake formats.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CodePipeline).

Preferred Skills

• Snowflake experience and knowledge of data modeling/schema evolution.
• AWS security best practices and familiarity with AWS Datazone, CloudTrail, or SNS.
