Description

You will manage and maintain Cloudera Big Data clusters and associated services on the BDPaas Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build Cloudera clusters and configure NiFi, Solr, HBase, and Kafka.
• Set up High Availability for Hue, Hive, HBase REST, Solr, and Impala.
• Write shell scripts to monitor Hadoop daemon health and automate failure responses.
• Monitor production cluster service health using Cloudera Manager.
• Write Hive and Impala queries via Hue to access databases and metastore tables.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data administration.
• Cloudera CDP v7.x and CDP.
• HBase, HBase REST, and Solr.
• Kafka and Kafka Streams API.
• NiFi.
• Hive and Impala.
• Spark.
• Python or R.
• CDSW.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CDP Public Cloud.
