Description

You will develop and implement data solutions within the BigData Hadoop ecosystem using Cloudera.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Interpret application, feature, and component designs to develop solutions in accordance with technical specifications.
• Code, debug, test, and document product and feature development stages.
• Validate results with user representatives and integrate solutions into the overall system.
• Select technical options for development by reusing, improving, or reconfiguring existing components.
• Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality of data processes.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in BigData Cloudera development.
• Proven expertise working with Cloudera version 6 or higher.
• Strong proficiency in Hive/Impala and Sqoop.
• Experience with Oozie Workflows and Schedulers.
• Advanced Shell Scripting and PySpark skills.
• Strong SQL querying skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Working knowledge of different Hive table formats.
• Thorough understanding of the BigData Hadoop Ecosystem.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
