Description

You will manage and maintain Unix and Windows operating systems within a storage and network environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer UNIX and Windows operating systems, including file systems and storage environments.
• Manage network protocols and connectivity, including routing, subnets, TCP/IP, VLANs, and UDP.
• Execute backup procedures and oversee storage management tasks.
• Troubleshoot system issues across operating systems and network infrastructure.
• Perform file manipulation and system administration using standard UNIX commands and principles.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system administration.
• Proven experience as a UNIX System Administrator or Wintel Administrator.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Perl, or Shell.
• Deep understanding of UNIX principles, file editing, and command-line manipulation.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, specifically TCP, IP, UDP, and VLANs.
• Experience managing storage environments and file systems.
• Competency in implementing and managing backup procedures.
