Description

Lead the design and development of secure, scalable frontend applications at the edge using Cloudflare services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop large-scale frontend applications using React and modern JavaScript.
• Implement edge-based solutions using Cloudflare Workers, Pages, CDN, and caching strategies.
• Optimize frontend performance through edge routing, distributed computing, and browser internals knowledge.
• Enforce security best practices including WAF configuration, rate limiting, and protection against XSS/CSRF/DDoS.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code and design reviews to ensure technical standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with React and component-driven architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with Cloudflare Workers, Pages, CDN configuration, and security features.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
• Understanding of frontend performance, networking fundamentals, and browser internals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript and modern tooling (Vite, Webpack, Rollup).
• Background in edge-first or serverless architectures.
