Description

You will manage and secure customer online presence by operating within the Cloudflare platform and addressing security threats.

Responsibilities

• Automate day-to-day operations and manual tasks using Python and APIs.
• Manage WAF rules, SSL/TLS certificates, and domain migrations to protect against emerging threats and ensure service continuity.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate BFA/DDoS attempts, including managing IP, OFAC, GEO, ASN, and User Agent whitelisting/blacklisting.
• Maintain Key-Value (KV) pairs and Worker code to ensure security and compliance.
• Configure log push jobs and enforce Bring Your Own IP (BYOIP) policies.
• Troubleshoot complex security and P1 operations issues while documenting technical processes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in a Cloudflare WAF Engineer role.
• Proficiency with Python and API usage for task automation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Experience managing Cloudflare security and operations features including WAF, DNS, and TLS.
• Working knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Cloudflare KV entries and Worker code.
• Ability to operate in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of OWASP rules and WAF managed rulesets.
• Understanding of machine learning and Bot management.
• Experience with agile methodologies using Jira and ServiceNow.
