Description

You will operate as an individual contributor supporting xPaaS infrastructure and internal customer applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Jira stories, bugs, ITSM incidents, changes, and problem tickets to maintain infrastructure stability.
• Ensure high availability across all environments and meet established SLAs and OLAs.
• Execute production support and operations for infrastructure and distributed middleware/caching applications.
• Partner with cloud engineering teams and technical product managers to support evolving platforms.
• Coordinate communications and facilitate the resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to operations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience with 5-7 years of relevant production operations experience at scale.
• Hands-on expertise in Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and cloud technology concepts (IaaS, PaaS).
• Strong Linux system engineering skills and in-depth understanding of Linux functionalities.
• Working knowledge of web technologies including HTTP, headers, authentication, SSL, and load balancing.
• Medium-level expertise in Python, Shell scripting, or Java/J2EE.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Maven.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk, Prometheus, or Ansible.
