Description

Lead ServiceNow Infrastructure Discovery, Mapping, and Integration processes while driving the CMDB transformation roadmap for global infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage ServiceNow Discovery activities across Cloud and On-Prem environments and support Service Mapping lifecycles.
• Design, develop, and implement custom patterns, probes, and sensors to ensure accurate discovery of infrastructure components and application services.
• Implement and maintain MID Server clusters, including capacity planning and configuration.
• Collaborate with Service Owners and technical SMEs to build, maintain, and reconcile accurate application service maps.
• Oversee ServiceNow version migrations, upgrades, and UAT testing.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6 years as a ServiceNow Service Mapping SME.
• Expert knowledge of CMDB classes and ServiceNow modules including AMDB, CMDB, and Service Mapping.
• Proven experience implementing cloud-based discovery and managing discovery schedules.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP ports, firewalls, network protocols, and IP networks.
• Hands-on experience with MID Server implementation, maintenance, and clustering.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix commands and OS environment management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• JavaScript scripting for CMDB task automation and data transformation.
• Exposure to third-party integration tools such as SCCM, Orchestration, Qualys, or Orion.
