Description

You will design, develop, and analyze the overall architecture of hardware and software systems to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into technical solutions and integrated hardware/software architectures.
• Coordinate the design and integration of total systems and their subsystems.
• Research and recommend new technologies to improve existing system performance.
• Develop technical documentation for applications and systems.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor to technical teams.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in technical architecture.
• Expertise in wireless technology standards and protocols including 3GPP, Wi-Fi, WiMax, antennas, amplifiers, base stations, and spectrum.
• Proficiency in voice, video, and app protocols such as VoIP, SIP, IMS, AIN, and Camel.
• Deep understanding of network and system architecture, including hardware/software dependencies.
• Knowledge of network management, configuration, IP address management, and performance tools.
• Experience with virtualization, storage, and Content Delivery Networks (Cloud, CDM, Grid, SAN).
• Proficiency in message and conference systems, including unified communications and video.
• Ability to specify and evaluate architecture requirements for RFXs.
• Experience with engineering cost estimates and economic modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise-wide deployment planning for mission-critical applications.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business-oriented teams.
