Description

You will develop and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes, ensuring efficient toolpaths and high-quality finishes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and publish technical documents, work instructions, and maintenance logs.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software for 2-axis through 5-axis machines.
• Design and fabricate custom fixtures, jigs, and workholding devices for production.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC equipment.
• Source and procure cutting tools, raw metals, and consumables while managing inventory.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on CNC programming experience.
• Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam, NX CAM, or EdgeCam.
• Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks or NX for reading 3D models and drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, GD&T, and shop safety practices.
• Experience operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to write and publish technical documents with strong analytical skills.
• Associate's degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to assess part designs for manufacturability.
