Description

You will develop numerical control programming for production, tooling, and manufacturing development projects using engineering data.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create graphical or mathematical lines and surfaces for parts, tools, and fixtures to ensure aerodynamic features meet master engineering lines.
• Determine efficient lofting and fabrication methods for sheet metal using numerical control tooling and standards.
• Generate tooling and material sketches, NC setup sheets, dimensional charts, and machine operation diagrams.
• Calculate flange setback, springback development, form and die setups, and bend allowances using mathematical formulas.
• Maintain complete program documentation to ensure effective process control and coordinate with engineering personnel on design changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CNC programming or related manufacturing roles.
• Proficiency in CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming.
• Strong ability to interpret and work from Engineering Drawings.
• Knowledge of Tooling Design and manufacturing methods.
• Experience with CAD and Flat Sketching.
• Ability to schedule multiple assignments and direct workflow for specific programs.
• Competency in math through Trigonometry and Analytical Geometry.
• Understanding of engineering materials and processing technology.

Preferred Skills

• CATIA V-5 modeling and surfacing experience.
• NC Programming and Flat Pattern experience.
