Description

You will develop and manage numerical control programs for production, tooling, and manufacturing development projects.

Responsibilities

• Create graphical or mathematical lines and surfaces for parts, tools, assembly fixtures, and mockups to ensure design and aerodynamic features meet master engineering lines.
• Develop CNC programming for production, tooling, and manufacturing development projects using engineering data and planning information.
• Generate tooling/material sketches, numerically controlled setup sheets, dimensional charts, and machine operation diagrams.
• Determine efficient lofting and fabrication methods for complex sheet metal assignments using numerical control tooling and standards.
• Maintain complete program documentation to ensure effective process control and coordinate with engineering personnel regarding design changes.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in CNC/NC programming or equivalent.
• Proficiency in CADAM, CATIA, and APT programming.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and create layouts and templates.
• Competency in lofting, tool design, and manufacturing planning processes.
• Mathematical proficiency in trigonometry, analytical geometry, and computing scale factors.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and dimensional sequencing of operations.
