Description

You will design and build enterprise-level applications within a public safety environment, protecting highly sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new modules and functionalities that meet specific business and client requirements.
• Develop web applications, web services (SOAP and REST), and Windows client applications.
• Debug, refactor, and optimize existing codebases to maintain high performance.
• Engage with stakeholders through professional consulting to define technical requirements.
• Apply fundamental design principles to ensure scalable application architecture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience across the full SDLC and Application Lifecycle Management.
• 5+ years of experience developing in C# (.NET, MVC, IIS, WCF) and Java with Spring Boot.
• 8+ years of experience developing services and applications in Java and Spring Boot.
• 8+ years of experience writing SQL code using SQL Server Management Studio.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server Database, Azure Data Factory, Elasticsearch in Cloud, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Proficiency with Python, Logic Apps, Link Services, and Repository/Release Pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Common Language Runtime (CLR), multi-threaded applications, and concurrency patterns in C#.
• Experience with frontend frameworks including Angular, React, Flutter, Ionic, or AngularJS.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in public safety environments (ambulance, fire, or police) or with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications.
• Knowledge of public sector governance methodologies such as UPM or architecture gating.
