Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and CICS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IMS-based mainframe applications.
• Read legacy code, understand business rules, and modify programs per requirements.
• Utilize JCL, REXX, ISPF, and File-Aid for program execution and support.
• Work with IBM utilities in a mainframe environment.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional experience.
• Strong, hands-on experience with COBOL and CICS.
• Expertise with JCL, REXX, ISPF, and File-Aid.
• Proven experience with IMS and VSAM.
• Familiarity with Mark IV and Expediter.
• Ability to interpret and modify existing business logic in code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization.
