You will support and enhance legacy IMS-based mainframe applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance IMS mainframe applications.
• Read and analyze legacy code to understand business logic.
• Modify programs based on evolving user and regulatory requirements.
• Perform debugging using File-Aid and Expediter.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure stability and performance.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience supporting large-scale government systems.
• Deep hands-on expertise in COBOL and CICS.
• Proven experience with JCL and VSAM.
• Familiarity with Rexx and ISPF.
• Proficiency in using File-Aid for debugging.
• Strong understanding of business rules and legacy systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
