Description

You will maintain and enhance complex mainframe eligibility systems, focusing on SNAP and TANF logic within the CICS environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex SNAP and TANF eligibility systems in the CICS environment.
• Create new screens and integrate functionality into existing legacy systems.
• Analyze, design, and program features for large, complex development projects on Mainframe or Linux.
• Recommend and implement system or process enhancements based on operational needs.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of enterprise system programming experience in COBOL CICS using ADABAS.
• 6+ years experience with SNAP/TANF eligibility rules, economic assistance policies, and state/federal mandates (MAVS).
• 6+ years experience in analysis, design, and programming for large/complex projects on IBM Mainframe or Linux.
• 6+ years experience with automated eligibility determination systems (SNAP/TANF).
• 3+ years providing subject matter expertise on Mainframe CICS system architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in COBOL and ADABAS.
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows and familiarity with SDLC.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.

Preferred Skills

• Intermediate knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with SCRUM or Agile methodologies.
