Description

You will develop, maintain, and support COBOL and DB2 batch applications within the LINK environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL/DB2 batch applications and LINK processes.
• Perform technical analysis, design, and requirement gathering for application integration.
• Manage all phases of the SDLC, including technical documentation and QA planning.
• Support data migration from legacy systems to new technologies and enterprise services.
• Mentor junior staff and conduct code reviews to ensure project requirements are met.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in COBOL and DB2 batch application development.
• Proficiency with TSO, ISPF, JCL, and utilities such as IDCAMS and IEBGENER.
• Strong SQL skills for developing test data and QA reports.
• Experience using SYNCSORT for report processing and data analysis.
• Proven experience in production support and resolving abends using IBM Debugger.
• Experience with Panvalet for code control and versioning.
• Ability to perform technical analysis, design, and testing coordination.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in SQL Server development, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with SharePoint, .NET, C#, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
