Description

Develop and maintain COBOL applications in the payment domain, owning the full development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient COBOL code that complies with security standards.
• Analyze and identify client and project requirements.
• Test, debug, and review code from yourself and your teammates.
• Ensure timely completion of development tasks with documented unit testing results.
• Mentor other development staff on technical topics.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with COBOL development.
• Proficiency in Unix and Linux environments.
• Experience with shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Batch processing and Database management.
• Functional experience in the payment domain.
• Ability to perform unit testing and debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Collaborate with QA and project teams to meet functional goals.
