Description

You will develop, maintain, and enhance custom software solutions on mainframe systems, including assisting with conversion to web-based applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate analysis and design documents into functional COBOL programs.
• Maintain and enhance custom software to improve system efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews and execute test program changes.
• Identify and correct data errors while providing production support.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in COBOL development on Mainframe.
• Proficiency with DB2 and JCL development and maintenance.
• Experience using Control-M for job scheduling.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug software.
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
• Experience preparing technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Java programming knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Postgres DB and Kofax experience.
