Description

Contract Legacy COBOL Software Engineer to support ongoing initiatives within the legacy systems team in Auburn Hills, MI (Remote allowed).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Personal Lines (PLO) and Commercial Lines (CPS) applications.
• Perform backend processing using IBM Green Screens.
• Handle data integration and management using SQL.
• Support modernization efforts and hybrid system requirements.
• Collaborate with underwriting and agent-facing teams in an Agile setting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AS400 COBOL.
• Strong proficiency in DB2 and SQL.
• Experience with P&C insurance domain, specifically PLO and CPS.
• Familiarity with CGI Ratabse (Rating Engine).
• Knowledge of Automatic Rate Loading (ARL) tools.
• Exposure to Java (WebSphere and Tomcat).
