Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe systems using COBOL.

You will own the full lifecycle of COBOL applications, including writing, debugging, and deploying code. You will manage JCL scripts and maintain Control-M job scheduling. You will prepare technical and user documentation for program and operational levels. You will integrate mainframe workloads with Postgres DB and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain COBOL applications on the mainframe.
• Manage and optimize JCL scripts for job execution.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for program logic and user guides.
• Support integration with Postgres DB and AWS environments.
• Maintain job scheduling using Control-M.

Required Skills

• 3 years of experience in COBOL development on Mainframe.
• Proficiency with COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
• Experience with Control-M for job scheduling.
• Experience with Postgres DB and AWS.
• Familiarity with Java.
• Familiarity with Kofax.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system modernization.
• Knowledge of mainframe security protocols.
