Description

You design, develop, and support COBOL programs for banking applications, including FDIC Sweep, Check Processing, and Image Processing. You work directly with client personnel to resolve software issues and provide technical assistance. You utilize systems development tools to maintain peripheral banking interfaces.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop COBOL programs based on user specifications for banking interfaces.
• Support FDIC Sweep, Check Processing, and Image Processing applications.
• Provide technical assistance to solve software problems in production environments.
• Maintain and update banking interfaces using CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
• Collaborate with client personnel to define and implement technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of programming experience in COBOL applications.
• 5+ years of recent experience in the banking domain.
• Proficiency in CICS, VSAM, and DB2.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and verbal/written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Easytrieve, Zeke, Changeman, INSYNC, Dumpmaster, and Tracemaster.
• Familiarity with MQ, Assembler, SQL, and SoapUI.
• Direct experience with FDIC Sweep programs.
