Description

You will design, develop, and support service-oriented applications within an IBM Mainframe environment, focusing on SOA integration and production stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate service-oriented application projects using SOA principles.
• Develop technical designs and integration layers within the SOA stack for financial service lines.
• Execute unit testing and integration of layers based on the WebSphere SOA stack.
• Resolve production issues and troubleshoot problems in multi-platform environments.
• Prepare detailed designs for COBOL, Mainframe, Web Services, and MQ code to facilitate SOAP to REST migrations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional IT experience in IBM Mainframe COBOL, DB2, and CICS development.
• Proficiency in DB2, Native Stored Procedures, CICS, Batch, JCL, VSAM, QMF, and TSO/ISPF.
• Hands-on experience with BMC products, Abend-Aid, FileAid, Changman, Xpeditor, and ZOSConnect.
• Experience with Web services (REST/SOAP), XML, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Working knowledge of APIs and microservices development using Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Ability to interface with distributed technologies including IBM DataPower, WEBS, and IIB.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Banking industry experience.
• Experience interfacing with IBM DataPower, WEBS, or IIB.
