Description

You will own critical mainframe systems requiring immediate technical contribution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL within a mainframe environment.
• Manage and manipulate data using VSAM and DB2.
• Utilize Endeavor for version control and deployment processes.
• Perform debugging and data analysis using Easytrieve and SQL.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of professional experience in mainframe development.
• Expertise in COBOL programming.
• Hands-on experience with VSAM.
• Proficiency with Endeavor.
• Experience using Easytrieve.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Working knowledge of DB2.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work onsite in Des Moines, IA, at least four days a week.
