Description

You will design, code, and maintain mainframe solutions within an Agile team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, document, and test technical solutions ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria and technical architecture.
• Perform unit, system, and integration testing to verify code quality and requirement adherence.
• Analyze system incidents, determine impact, and propose solutions for issue resolution.
• Support the Long Term Care policy administration system by monitoring, resolving failures, and maintaining peripheral system interactions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage tickets, and assist team members with technical problem-solving.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in mainframe programming.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and IMS.
• Experience in production support, preferably in insurance or finance.
• Proficiency with SQL and Data Analysis.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams on complex mainframe systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of MVS.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to understand complex business logic and analyze system impact.
• Good communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
