Description

You will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot core batch applications using COBOL within an Agile/Scrum framework.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core batch programs and applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex system problems and performance issues.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and code.
• Support application development using standard software packages.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional development experience with COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with CICS transaction processing.
• Proficiency in JCL for batch job management.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting complex legacy systems.
• Familiarity with application development support tools and packages.
• Understanding of healthcare domain requirements and data flows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
