Description

Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, managing the full software development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute full lifecycle development using COBOL within a mainframe environment.
• Implement established coding standards across all developed code.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and deliver functional solutions.
• Collaborate with users to define design requirements and identify problems.
• Document all changes following the Systems Development Life Cycle process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL programming.
• Proficiency with JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Experience programming within a mainframe environment.
• Experience in integration development.
• Ability to work with APIs to and from source systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate status.

Preferred Skills

• TCS BaNCS experience.
• Foundational understanding of banking processes.
