Description

You will develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support business-critical applications using RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
• Design and maintain display files (DSPF) and reporting files (PRTF) for user interfaces and printed output.
• Debug and resolve issues within batch and interactive programs.
• Implement system integrations with third-party or internal applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant development experience.
• Proficiency in COBOL development on IBM i / AS/400.
• Hands-on experience with RPGLE, CLLE, and SQLRPGLE.
• Strong knowledge of DB2/400 and SQL.
• Experience creating and maintaining display files (DSPF) and printer files (PRTF).
• Understanding of job control, batch job processing, and CL programming.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in the automotive or rental industry.
• Exposure to accounting systems, processes, or integration systems.
• Familiarity with modern integration methods such as APIs or middleware.
