Description

You will serve as a COBOL subject matter expert for Life Insurance and Annuity product lines.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and functional gaps into technical specifications.
• Configure new product launches and enhance existing products within the Life and Annuity domain.
• Perform application enhancements by following Business Specification Documentation.
• Integrate systems including DTCC, DST, Claims, and Agency Systems.
• Debug and maintain code within Waterfall and Agile SDLC environments.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience programming and debugging with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
• Deep domain knowledge of insurance products including Term, Whole Life, ISWL, UL, VUL, and Fixed, Variable, and Indexed Annuities.
• Working knowledge of Life Insurance and Annuity TPA business processes.
• Experience with relational databases including DB2, SQL, and Oracle.
• Proven experience in the SDLC using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Java, Python, Shell Scripting, and Linux.
