Maintain mainframe applications and lead legacy system modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications using COBOL.
• Develop, debug, and optimize code within Micro Focus Enterprise environments.
• Lead legacy system modernization and migration projects to new platforms.
• Use modern IDEs to develop, test, and debug COBOL applications.
• Collaborate with system analysts, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a COBOL Mainframe Developer.
• Deep expertise in Micro Focus Enterprise.
• Proven experience with legacy system modernization and migration.
• Proficiency in using modern Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) for COBOL development.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on W2 contracts.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Micro Focus COBOL certifications.
