Description

You will develop and maintain core systems using COBOL within a NonStop environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop functionality across online and batch COBOL servers, prioritizing Online Server Development (80/20 split).
• Apply knowledge of online transaction processing within NonStop systems.
• Utilize Generative AI/LLM-based tools for development or analysis.
• Work within Agile frameworks using JIRA and Confluence for task management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience with NonStop COBOL (Tandem COBOL).
• 5+ years experience with NonStop Server L Series.
• 3+ years experience with SCOBOL for online screen development.
• 3+ years experience with DDL.
• 3+ years working in Agile environments.
• 3+ years working with JIRA and Confluence.
• 1+ year practical experience using Generative AI / LLM-based tools.
• Cobol, Sqlmx, Soap, Xml, Atp, Javascript, Jira.
