Description

You will develop and maintain core systems using COBOL within a NonStop environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop functionality across online and batch COBOL servers with an 80/20 focus on Online Server Development.
• Implement online transaction processing within NonStop systems.
• Utilize Generative AI and LLM-based tools for development and analysis tasks.
• Manage tasks and collaboration using JIRA and Confluence within Agile frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience with NonStop COBOL (Tandem COBOL).
• 5+ years experience with NonStop Server L Series.
• 3+ years experience with SCOBOL for online screen development.
• 3+ years experience with DDL.
• 3+ years working in Agile environments.
• 3+ years working with JIRA and Confluence.
• 1+ year practical experience using Generative AI or LLM-based tools.
• Proficiency in SQL/MX, SOAP, XML, ATP, and JavaScript.
