Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Mainframe applications.
• Design, code, test, and implement software solutions using COBOL and related Mainframe technologies.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM Mainframe technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• COBOL
• JCL
• CICS
• DB2
• VSAM
• IBM z/OS
• Experience with batch processing and online transaction processing.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, or application integration is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Healthcare or Health Insurance domain.
• Experience with IMS, Endevor, Changeman, Control-M, or CA7.
• Exposure to Java or other modern programming languages is an added advantage
