Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance IBM Mainframe applications using COBOL and related technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and implement software solutions on IBM z/OS.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical Mainframe solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with IBM Mainframe technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Experience with batch processing and online transaction processing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON for application integration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Healthcare or Health Insurance domain.
• Experience with IMS, Endevor, Changeman, Control-M, or CA7.
