Description

You will develop and maintain solutions on the System i (AS/400) platform, owning the design, development, and proof-of-concept execution for projects.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions within the AS/400 environment.
• Execute proof-of-concepts for System i platform projects.
• Create solution designs and project estimates.
• Utilize AS/400 products including RPG and Synon to meet requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL development.
• Proficiency with Cobol85 and COBOL400.
• Hands-on experience with the iSeries platform.
• Strong knowledge of JCL and RPG.
• Experience with Synon and System I (AS/400).
• Working knowledge of DB2 (iSeries) and flat file structures.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• C programming skills.
