Description

You will develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL programs within a mainframe environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance COBOL programs to meet system requirements.
• Support batch and real-time processing systems using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality.
• Document program logic, workflows, and system interfaces.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of COBOL development experience in a mainframe environment.
• Proficiency in JCL, DB2, CICS, and VSAM.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with Micro Focus COBOL.
• Experience with API integration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
