Description

Develop and maintain COBOL applications on Mainframe systems, managing the full software development life cycle from design to production deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate COBOL software following standard SDLC practices.
• Troubleshoot, test, and debug code to ensure functional requirements are met.
• Perform data analysis and generate summary reports to correct data errors.
• Prepare program-level and user-level documentation.
• Coordinate with users to obtain sign-off on changes before production deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL development on Mainframe systems.
• Proficiency in JCL development and maintenance.
• Experience with DB2 and Control-M.
• Strong analytical skills for non-database functions and data error correction.
• Ability to manage the full software development life cycle.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Java programming knowledge.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Postgres DB and Kofax experience.
