Develop and maintain mainframe applications across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test application changes to ensure code quality.
• Translate gathered requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug code to resolve technical issues.
• Optimize application performance for efficient software resource usage.
• Implement and support changes through the full deployment lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL.
• Experience with VSAM.
• Experience with Db2.
• Proficiency with Mainframe Utilities.
• Ability to write and execute unit test scenarios.
• Strong requirement analysis and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the Payments or Cards domain.
