Description

You will develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and associated tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL, JCL & Copybooks to meet project requirements.
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate application changes.
• Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development.
• Interface with business and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and code.
• Perform application support tasks, including systems support, security reviews, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding.
• Expertise in COBOL (CICS), JCL, CA7, DB2, and Batch Processing.
• Experience developing and executing unit testing and integration plans.
• Proficiency in running, compiling, and debugging on IBM Z370 and MVS 2.04 environments.
• Ability to work independently on enhancements to COBOL programs and subprograms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working with mainframe systems for correspondence generation updates.
